What an incredible night on the American stock markets. I've just watched the Dow go from 800 down to 1600 down and then back to 750 down in 30 minutes. On its way down the ticker was jumping by 85 points down in ten seconds. I believe the analogue machinations are going mad at the moment. As Cramer on CNBC said the machine analogue trading breaks the market when there is such extreme volatility.
