If you couldn't read my enquiry then I would ask you to again. getting 8 ton out of the ground does not provide I ton of lithium for battery grade supply to make 50,000 EV batteries. it would only make about 6% concentrate which is then the feed stock for the converters. I worded this slightly different and hopefully it resonates with you now so that may be able to explain why your calculations were incomplete.
One would not like a product as poor quality as 99%. Face palm mate, its 99.99% would be what the market seeks but brines are not there yet
This would be my calculation. The conversion rate used by a current producer is 5.32 tonnes of lithium carbonate equates to 1 tonne of lithium metal.
Depending on your % in spodumene for example, then your calculation would be to supply a concentrate of 6% if process and qualities allowed. You would need to factor in a 70 to 80% loss rate also
