I was so impressed with NUH CEO back at AGM in Nov, I doubled my shareholding A few days later went to another AGM, the CEO & Chair didn't attend, and the Director who presided did his best but struggled. Sometimes its not possible for the CEO to attend but they can still prepare a presentation - this company didn't do that either!
Another test of management is how accessible they are. Go onto the website and try and make contact by phone or email.
Also research ANNs - a reasonable run of ANNs suggests the management is keeping investors informed. Also consider how well they are marketing the company e.g. "roadshows," investor presentations, conventions etc
