Btw you've done a great thing there yesterday @Nodferatu For someone who has seen his fair share of cases particularly in the youth the best possible thing you have done, if I'm reading between the lines, is show some compassion, and/or reach out and help. When people get like that it can be horribly isolating. Sometimes they can't even see what's right in front of them and not consult friends or family as they feel ashamed. Having a work colleague or someone else you wouldn't think would care is a catalyst sometimes for a circuit breaker.
It's also a sign of how great the thread is and how much trust and respect is around for you to post that and people who might also be touched by this to show appreciation. Also happy to help if needs be...
