Who remembers their first ever E.Trade? I remember being frustrated at having to call my broker for every trade and so opened a small trading account with HSBC in about the year 2000, my first buy was RND Rand mining. I sold it a few month later, feeling so proud of myself for my huge profit…should have held for 8 years instead.! Remember when we had to peer at the columns of stock listings in the back of the newspaper every day.
