Request for Submissions to the Weekly FA STT FA List
I'm opening up for submissions to put on the Weekly FA list published every Sunday night....
So if one of your holdings or your research has uncovered a pivotal FA event coming up in the short term that is likely have a major affect on the price then submit it in. It can be for a stock long or short position, Blue, Green Chip, Specy, could be an Option, Warrant, IPO, rights, or whatever.
Please anyone who wants to add an item then mark your post with "Item For Weekly FA List" and post to this thread or Email me.
Again we are looking for items that are likely to move more that 30% in the time frame suggested. You will need to provide the following :-
1. Ticker (or Option/ warrant etc)
2. Stock story in a short sentence or two
3. Catalyst for change (ie what fundamental thing will happen to cause it to move, like a report or resource upgrade or 1st prod etc etc)
4. Approx date of the catalyst event
5. The spotter - Person who 1st brought to the attention of the thread.
6. Disclosure - If you hold a position or not
For example, an entry might look like this -----------------------------------------------------------
NXR - Fe explorer in Equatorial Guinea and in WA. Has secured large land holding in Equatorial Guinea which has widespread DSO grade Fe at surface Grabs have returned grades to 64% Fe. Two Rails lines 30-60km away lead to 2 deep water ports on the coast. About to commence 300 Hole shallow drill program of 10km2 at Telimele license using there own RC/RAB Drill rig on their Coastal Prospect. [Expecting the Ann of commencement of drilling this week] Spotted Freehold (Position Held)
What we are trying to achieve on the FA List is an entry shortly before the stock starts its rally on the expectation of the event and then ,hopefully, the subsequent rally after the event has occurred.
Examples of stock price moving events might be
- Maiden Jorc - Feasibility Study - High Grade Drill results - Phase 3 trials for a biotech - or positive clinical study expected - Announcement of contract - Start of Production - Bank Study Complete - JV/ patnership announcements - Patent announcements - Profit Upgrades - Acquisitions - Wells about to be Spudded - Wireline Lone results for oil/gas wells
Etc Etc
This list goes on...Quite often these events and their approx dates are alluded to in prior announcement by the company.
So...
Now If your recommended stock goes up in the time frame suggested then you will not doubt receive some Cred/respect from the readers on the Short Term Trading thread.
I understand fully that it may however take some weeks for items on the list to play out fully.
