The design is one of a stream that tells the story of each family and individual from the youngest baby to eldest adult. It is just 500 meters away from the very wall of the Pentagon that the plane went into so as you looked down and read the individual stories, you could see to your right and imagine the impact zone.
I left that day feeling like I knew them all. Incredibly sad but it's the design that triggers in oneself emotions I certainly never knew the depth of.

Why is it so difficult for man to live in peace and to respect each other. Seems two world wars and all the other ones have taught us absolutely nothing. Ther are two catherdrals side by side in Coventry City, one bombed during WW11 and the new one. Walking around the ruins of the old one the ghosts of the past certainly make their presence felt.
