i have a long held (a few months) theory that the spec market is f@#$d because of bitcoin. it sucked every single potential speculative investor of this generation into a 6 month frenzy, 90% got burnt contrary to what they say. I believe this will only be fixed by an unknown amount of time (few years?) passing or natural attrition with a new generation of younger cashed up investors coming to the fore.

another discussion point i would like to selfishly add is: with all the free software and web services out there on offer, STT included, what software and services are you people willing to pay for in regard to stock market investing? Thus far i have had an equity story subscription but am starting to itch and am looking further afield as my journey matures.
