What attracted you to the market ?? Where the returns can be endless and pricing is known at any moment unlike property.
When did you start trading ? 2007 Started a successful business paying 50k-100k dividends year after year. After paying off house in 2009 (goal 1 achieved), started investing picking up bargains from GFC. 2012 Cashed it all in to fund holiday unit. Financially bad but the memories of the young family and beach have more than made up for it. Wouldn't change a thing. 2018 closed the business for better work life balance. Supplementing income via the market.
Did you have a specific goal to achieve ?? Single income family through choice. Despite doing well we were not going to get where we wanted to in life.
What was it and did you achieve it ?? Still working on it. 10 years to go.
What do you trade ?? basic stocks, no futures or crypto ect. Companies I can understand. Generally steer clear of miners due to commodity price influence.
What keeps you in the market ?? Future goals to achieve including decent retirement. Poor interest rates
