I was in Tassie in October for 5 weeks, only two mornings did it rain, the rest of the time weather was beautiful. On both days that I went on the day long boat trips, talking to the crews and telling them that how fortunate I was with the weather, both threatened to handcuff me to the boat. Apparently the weather before I arrived had been cold and wet and windy for weeks on end.
