NFT is more than digital art, this is what a lot of people fail to understand.
It stands for a "Non Fungible Token". The early adopters are in the art space, but it extends to literally anything of value. For example music artists have recently sold Albums as NFT's that distribute % of proceeds back to the NFT. That is an investment that offers you capital growth and yield.
It's just using the blockchain as a way to recognize ownership and process things automatically. Rather than owning shares in a recoding company and receiving yearly dividends, you could own the NFT's the artist themselves sell and receive instant dividends.
Watch this space. The Non Fungible area is only just finding it's utility.
