Hi @48&34, about ten years ago I saw an ABN Amro analysis of total return for the past 120 years (from memory) for various countries. Australia had the highest total return over that period. So maybe we may soon start to see mean reversion effect.
Your analysis above should include dividends, as total return = stock return plus dividend yield. When you do this the difference will be less.
