    I think the rules could be very simple. We could go with 3 different categories. Global stock listed on the ASX. Australian company that has previously paid dividends. Australian stock that has not yet paid a dividend. Geared ETFs are excluded but non geared ETFs are fine.

     Take a value on Jan 2nd 2019 and then on last trading day before Christmas. Total return is the measure, which also includes dividends and Franking Credits for the first 2 categories. What do posters think about this?
