In terms of vices, I can't study charts unless I put some music on. It seems to help me concentrate. I do all my study and trading on a computer, and unfortunately the computer is also a link to everything else on the internet. I do some online business too. But once I put the music on, it signals a switch to me , that it is time to concentrate on shares. I don't have the music on when I am doing other work - only really when I am doing shares. And I seem to be able to focus better. Some comfort food later at night, also helps me concentrate for longer.
