My motivation is family. My wife is vastly underpaid and excessively overworked so I would like to have a bit more financial freedom so that she can work 2-3 days a week. I also want to set my kids up for a good life.
I don't need any vices (not yet anyway lol) I just love waking up everyday and seeing what's happening, digging for info, doing a bit of research and having a bit of banter. It'll be different next week when I'm back in the grind of 9 to 5 but I feel like my type of trading just needs patience.
