Just thought I'd give out a reading tip to any lurkers out there (I know there is plenty cause I used to be one) and anyone looking for some brain food. A book by Nobel Prize winner, Daniel Kahneman. It's called 'Thinking Fast and Slow'. Although non-trading specific I have found it to be truly enlightening when it comes to my trading mindset. To summarise a substantial amount of knowledge to one point. It's allowed me to call B.S on my own thoughts. It has allowed me to see the difference between does this stock have potential or do I WANT it to go up because I own it. By no means have I perfected my own trading psyche but I'm definitely miles ahead since reading it. Stock knowledge is one thing, controlling your decisions is an equally important part too.
I also noticed @herbalist has recommended it in the knowledge library. Which should give a lot more weight than just my opinion.
If someone's looking for an investment, this book should be at the top of your watchlist.
