CME group currently has fed interest rate rise chance at 12% for next week's FOMC meeting. That sounds ridiculously assured of no rise. Two things this newb has learnt from Brexit is 1. The general consensus is as reliable as a coin toss. 2. The market hates a surprise.
Looking forward to the entertainment of the chaos if the raise happens. I'm sure it will be a storm in a teacup anyway due to rise means economy strength.
