I am staying well clear of the energy sector right now. Made good $ on IFN and WND takeovers and have a significant amount of money in a private rooftop solar business so know the space quite well but when a SOE talks about breaking up a private market “oligopoly” I wouldnt want to be a shareholder in AGL or ORG - or any other domestic energy business right now.
At some point Snowy Hydro will be privatised and if the pigs in government have any sense they will float it (vs private sale to an Infra investor) so the public including yours truly can make some $ of a government subsidised company... most government floats have gone alright (other than T3 from memory).
