Yeah @gypaetus, they do seem sort of related.  Yeah they seem to work for some instruments and not others.  That's why I was wondering about the self fulfilling element.  Sorry I have to figure out how to do multiple replies I have seen @ammie do this.

@golden6, the SPX is in a typical pre-holiday melt up today.  The reaction in DXY to the strong employment report is a bit confusing but I am in a haze today so just watching and have not scrutinized the report.   GC ran to the top of that balance area and fell back in but is still in the upper half.  So it’s a bit perplexing and just watching.  Yes, but not major plans yet for the fourth.   I have a friend that lives in my area on a hill and he invites me to help him make a fire to burn brush we removed.  But if it's hot we won't do that.  But we can watch distant fireworks because you can see miles and miles from that hill.
