Open and PRE-Open

A Stock when making a new announcement will go through a few stages

1. Pre-NR means trading has temporarily ceased as an announcement is on the way shortly usually within 15 mins or so but not released just yet.
2. Once report has been released by the ASX the Stock goes into Pre-open state where by trading is still ceased but a time is published when it will reopen usually with 15 mins
3. Stock opens Trading Recommences


So occasionally I'll publish a "Preopen alert" to the STT Threads. Meaning my system has "accessed" the Stock whilst in Preopen state and suggests that there is a high likelihood that the stock may move up on Re-open or I'll publish a Open alert which is the similar to preopen but the stock has already reopened before I had time to published the warning.
