Sharing with my girlfriend, she's a school teacher over here.
Fairly nice/standard 1 bedroom apartment has rooftop pool and gym, rent $340 a month...
Electricity and water is like $20 a month ha.
Eat mostly local Thai food, $1-3 a meal.

it's actually quite expensive to drink in the touristy areas now, similar prices to Australia..

I don't really drink, just trade, train Muay Thai, go to the beach and occasionally go surfing in Sumatra.
It's really nice and easy living over here, glad to be out of the mines and away from the attitude that goes with it..


On another note and while I was christmas shopping....

Futures breaking out to the downside.
Bonds breaking out to the upside.
Gold continuing it's uptrend.
