By saying this, I have tried many different ways... DT to weekly hold to 4 weeks ST... I tried buying two parcels of the same stock like one short term and one more like 6 to 12 weeks hold at the same time... so if something makes a move quick I sell ST parcel and hang on to 6 to 12 weeks parcel... Have to admit it works really well...
I am now becoming more and more 3 to 6 months investor but if something hits targets earlier than that time frame I will lock in gains... this is also the first year when I have decided to hold two stocks for more than 12 months... Held Rsl/Srt/Iam for more than 12 months now and happy to save some taxes... the second is PAK which I am planning to hold for a while as well...
Cheers

Forrestfield,
Yours ways of trading and thinking are very logical and excellency as a retail trader. Not many people here that can beat the market often as you because trading with profit is extremely difficult.
However, I think you will be greater if you willing to trades short selling method too .
