I am philosophical/mystical in my outlook... I have come to the view this is only one life out of many that we have. The real challenge is to see things as they actually are .... and as far as I can tell.... making mistakes is the fastest way to learn.
imo... what's important about mistakes is trying to understand why you make them. Fantasy?, greed?, fear? In the market you get the chance to make every kind of mistake... and they usually hurt. The big plus out of it is... once you see why you acted in such and such a way it gives you an insight into yourself which you didn't have before... and the real pay-off, which can't be measured in $'s, is that will translate into every other aspect of life...
