Vaguely, it's more than one day and less than a year. The STT comp is for a 4 week hold. Most here will have some stocks they'll hold for a few days or weeks while others they'll hold onto for months. Sometimes you intend to hold a stock for a few weeks but it shoots up and hits your sell within a day so holding times really depend on the trader, the specific stock and the type of market at the time.
