Position size for me is all over the shop. No pilot entries from me either. With limited capital I don't have to wade into a position, I just jump in. If something is cheap and all of a sudden I'm flush with cash I sometimes buy more. Did this recently with PLH at 16c by doubling down on a retreating s.p. It's starting to look like a good decision.
It's all a feeling to me. I might feel like I'm a bit light on for Company "A" and top up or feel a bit overweight on company "B" and look to shed a few. I don't think I'll ever get to be purely mechanical for position sizes. We'll see.
