HC for me is invaluable for a number of reasons :
Trading from home is a fairly insular experience....no workmates so to speak and not a social experience .Add to that is the fact I live in a country where I have limited opportunities to speak,read or write English.HC allows me the luxury to read and write English .
I use the STT threads and XSO mainly and from them pick up leads from both posters I respect and other posters who are only recently arrived to HC ....A heads up to investigate further.
I also have a small list of posters which if I find them already on a stock thread I am unlikely to buy......I like to come across stock threads where there are very few recent posts and where the stock hasn't moved up in some time- may mean I am buying at a bottom .
