Thinking back I realise that my most successful trading period was when I didn't think about what was going on and just traded what was in front of me. I D/T for about 2 years, nerve wrecking at the time. I had a goal, and didn't care how I reached it, and was prepared to lose the lot, mind you didn''t have much to lose at the start. When I came to do my tax return and was getting all the trades to excel- I kept looking at codes I'd traded, and wondered- who on earth is that !! Reckless I know. Couldn't do it now, too much to lose and age , commonsense , kicks in. Perhaps I should just close all my positions, park the funds somewhere safe, and start again with a very small amount and see what eventuates. Confused- certainly am.
