End of week results update from me on my $50K Weekly Gap strategy. Two positions reached their expiry at the close of today's trading, so were closed as per strategy. Unfortunately both were losses, for a total of -$472.55, thanks to the last couple of days. Would have been nice to kick off with one or two winners, but so be it that's the way it goes - what's important is (a) how the strategy averages over the next year of trades, not how it does in any individual trade, (b) that I stick rigidly to my execution, and (c) keep my losses to within the allocated equity %. Since its early days I'm still settling in in terms of my execution (I haven't done a lot of equity trading in the last couple of years, having focused mainly on FX & Indices which is all algo-based, so having to get used to manual trading again until I can find a way to automate this strategy and others I am developing).
I will post my weekly scan on Sunday once I have completed that.
