IMO - If people stop and look a little deeper, this is not just retail traders hitting back at the hedges. Retail traders have been making a mockery of the markets, and a fortune from those who are new to the markets for years. This is trading now. I've watched ASX penny stocks being "moved" by groups of people - much like what this reddit group are doing (except on a smaller scale). I'm sure many of us have seen the power of the group pumps & and the rampfest that goes with it. It's just getting more and more out of control because regulators do nothing. Welcome to the new world.
