    I think there's a big difference between the classic car market and one buyer who really wants your car. Kind of like predicting an individual stock's future price performance based on the performance of the index as a whole. There are always stocks who do well in bear markets for reasons specific to that company. An eager buyer, particularly one who will track you down, is not going away unless he gets the car from someone else or goes bankrupt. IMO.
