They certainly are. I'm not in Sydney so no help from me, sorry. I stumbled across my current accountant - they don't advertise and strictly deal with the big end of end. Was purely chance and luck that I found mine and even managed to get a booking.

He was surprised when on my first meeting with him that I actually made it through the booking system and initially said 'well I don't normally do this, but seeing how you're here - this year I will'... been stuck with him ever since... he was surprised a small fish like me was having a crack on my own and doing ok in a league where I probably don't belong. He has taken me under his wing of sorts and is always excited to see my EOY results now. Almost a mentor, if you will, just helping out a small fry that is having a go - I think he likes that.

He is also happy to respond to emails throughout the year too, handy for those off the cuff questions etc and managing/balancing my expenses throughout the year.

Don't know what I'd do if he told me not to come back anymore lol
