Throw your weight around Trump. Iran is in real domestic trouble with sanctions
China is trying to work out how to save face but at the same time save their economy from ruin.
The Media is going ballistic and stirring up all kinds of pure dribble.
Short term pain but China has more to lose and they know it.
Expect more posturing from the Chinese and eventually a media conference , hand shake and back to business. My guess soon.

I heard similar things from a market analyst. Cutting through all the scandal and bad press isn't he really only trying to look after his home country?

This market analyst said that in the end China will acquiesce and give Trump what he really wants, which is recognition of intellectual property.
The entertainment industry in the U.S. is worth $735b and China doesn't see copyright.
He said China will not let their market fall through this trendline going back to 2005 and will make agreements when it gets close.
