Look at the proportion of Advancers in the US as compared to the local market. I would bet good money that the SP 500 will achieve 3000 in the short term, but not sure that the XJO could get to 6400 this financial year. We have been going essentially sideways for around 11 years, while US indices have reached new all time highs over 100 times in the same 11 years. I know where I would prefer to invest money.
