Have followed and admired the 5 grander since its inception, but havn't participated as above my ability and budget

Bet seriously, the 5G is not a competition, nor should we try to make it one. It is a personal trading experience for improving technique and generously shared here by those who participate. Its authenticity should stay with those participating, as they are only cheating themselves if not being honest. Besides, as pointed out above, it is of less value for other experienced traders, but can be very helpful for newbies by the rigour required to make it successful.

This is not to say that a more formal approach couldn't be adopted for its presentation, but I'd leave it at that.

As for the STT in general, I havn't had so much fun since reading Plato . Characters to match.
