In my opinion most new year resolutions are broken because by nature people will chose resolutions that are harder to achieve and ones that they are too scared of tackling in normal everyday life. They are things that people want to change about themselves/their life but most of these will need a real life catalyst and whether or not that will happen in the next year is impossible to tell.. On top of that we have other smaller, easier to deal with issues arising for us everyday making it even harder to stick to the bigger picture..
