Dear me ... a bit more of the " it's not a matter I can comment on today" might have been more appropriate since Keith is supposedly the one making the decision about PEP11. The cynic in me thinks Scotty was not trying to save (a few votes) the planet, stupid. Remind me again, how he came to power ...

I hope you do not mind but I linked your post to the DT thread as there are many punters there holding BPH and I thought it appropriate to bring the information to their attention.
