Thanks Nambo. I'm fairly inexperienced but regularly lurking stocks.

I think my main issue probably lies with timeframe, i buy to quick when i see what i like and sell to quick when i don't. Or in the above cases once I lose patience. In the case of RVR I have been in and out regularly for my predefined 10-15% profit taking but "knew" at somepoint it would go well without making sure i watched closely for when or what would trigger...

I think I'm understanding the trading entry point better for me now, before i mixed early undervalued buy in with stocks that were retracing after initial breakout. Initial breakout retrace doesn't seem to work for me i now realise.

Anyway thanks for the thought provoking reply, allows me to check my own sanity against some decent rules.
