I recently carried out some repairs at a clients home and was made aware that "a stock trader" was in the home. I had the opportunity to discuss ASX trading with this individual after I'd completed my work.
They work purely off "Momentum" Scanning different ranges of market cap groups, watching money movements. No fundamental analysis, just 1 minute and 10 minute charts. No noise. During our discussion every point/consideration/concerns I brought up was answered with ""I'm not interested in any of that l just need to see the volume/ money coming in , l always buy the supply and always get out selling to the bid.
Never ended the day with money on table. I don't know if it's for me. I like the noise. I like the fact that what I see and read is all trying to speak to me to try and sell me a story line where l have to decide the facts. Biggest thing for is having to continually recognize my "confirmation bias"
