    A good approach for the very patient.....This is the bottom up approach.
    The problem is that bearish sectors could remain lifeless for years.....Another problem is the difficulty picking up "best of breed" before the tide actually turns , mainly because one is solely relying on individual & mostly biased attitude.
    The Top down approach is much easier & more market based where one takes positions in bullish sectors EARLY in the piece....Many advantages.
    # Timing/Save time.
    # See who the leaders are....Best of breed.....Market based , not biased.
    # The more likelyhood of sticking with the trend much longer.
    I am not condoning getting in at market tops , but don't attempt to pick bottoms either....Not a good habit.
