Was out last night at a traders dinner , had the opportunity to talk charts with a few TA folks.. One question that came up from me is does market manipulation happen ?
But what i ended up realising in that covo is it shouldn't matter when looking at stocks from any perspective as a trader.
We often get blind sided or attached to a stock , we want to believe & trust that a stock will do right by us to the point making excuses when things don't turn out well.
Time & time again stocks will get smashed down for a number of reasons & market darlings are no exception , trying to figure out why & read some randoms opinion in hope to justify you're beliefs takes away you're ability to see the the trade for what it is. White noise and all that.
You are either on the wrong side or the right side of the trade & learning how to identify the two is all that matters.
