I also thought it might be a bit off point for the STT forum, but decided to post it anyway given the context of quite a few people following MM systems at the moment, and I noted that you got a good few likes for your earlier posts re Amibroker and MM, so kept it here anyway.
I was sure to get the AFL package Really looking forward to eventually getting into the programming side of it… So much potential for screening and back-testing!
Due to work and generally not having enough time to constantly look at charts and watch lists, I have come to accept that I need to move towards a pretty much 100% EOD strategy and have been increasingly feeling that a good amount of quantitative trading should be a part of it to at least scan for setups and back test for entry/exit rules etc, but as much to also take my own impulsiveness and subjectivity out of trading.
Thanks again. I’ll be sure to check those books/links out once I’m familiar with the main parts of it.
Not sure if they’re quite the right place either, but I might tag you over on the Algo or Edu forums for any future Amibroker discussion.
