Re THD - When it comes to tech & apps , its never about what one or few individual likes. Its all about what young-old stylish generation out there will accept and welcome. For example; Since the launch I never liked & used facebook or Instagram despite coming from IT background (except pushed by Uni friends to create an account). I am sure many out there not using either facebook/Whatsapp/Skype/Kik/Instagram/Twitter/Tango or Linkedin. But did it stop for these companies to grow this far and attract investors despite running in loss.
Also when it comes to coding, hiring programmers and get the same thing done by oneself is easy to say but not many can implement SUCCESSFULLY, otherwise same could be applied for facebook/Whatsapp/Skype/Kik/Instagram/Twitter/Linkedin & they wouldn't have been successful at all.
When it comes to tech and apps, its all about innovation and correct execution then just a copy cat.....Thred team has been working on this for long time and so now its time for them to execute correctly. As said SP will reflect true value only if the Product execution is successful and widely accepted by the consumer.
However, too early to make a call by any of us.....Just wait for next 6 months and we will all come to know.
