    @Sector

    1. Tech - I think alot of tech stocks are set for big advancements in 2017 and will lift confidence in the sector as a whole. (rap fda approval, iam revenue agreement etc..) technology is advancing at such a rapid rate and I think the asx is still clueless as to how to value these companies so I think there will definitely be some money to be made in between. Many great stories around let's see if they can make it in 2017..

    2. Lithium - As stated many times I think the analysts forecasts for li demand is grossly understated and is mainly accounting for the batteries only being used in EV when we all know there will be many new applications from which li will be sought after. I don't see a newer battery tech taking over within the near future, only advancements in current li-ion tech through new Super materials like graphene. I also still see brine still being more in demand than spodumene going forward but that's just imo..

    3. Graphene- the new wonder material that almost seems too good to be true is now at commercialisation stage and is set to revolutionize many industries through its amazing properties.. The 'new and improved' plastic is out of the lab and is now being developed to be sold in a number of different industries. Samsung holds the largest number of patents for graphene related tech and all technology companies will have to follow suit to avoid being left behind. I don't think 2017 will be the year that graphene takes the world by storm, more so the year that the general population will be made aware of how disruptive this material truly will be. I expect to see alot of graphene related companies pop up in the next 3 years..

    Just my 2c written after my first sleep in that I've had the luxury of enjoying in a while. Have a great Christmas all stt'ers and enjoy the couple days rest we get from the mayhem of the market. Anything can and will happen in the future but the STT thread seems to always be one step ahead of everyone else on HC
