China's sharemarket is small, US most of fall 500 points happened in the last hour. One has to think that this has been orchestrated somehow.

It appears the reall concern is the rumour that China will introduce CGT, and maybe stifle investment.

Personally I think we are looking at a short-term correction, and one thing for sure, this correction doesnt resolve the looming energy issues or stifle the introduction of more nuclear power plants, unless I've totally misread the situation.
