My concern of getting too excited about gas is that the shortage and shortfalls in supply could turn around very quick.... It's not like we don't have it, we have heaps, it's just contracted elsewhere and the development of new wells are being held back by our governing bodies/developers. How convenient....
Supply to our domestic market is being controlled to bolster the price imo. Supply will magically re-appear when the controlling entities are satisfied with said prices. All of a sudden, crisis fixed.
Not to say it won't create some good trading ops, as it most likely will... but how well it sustains is anybodies question. The usual cyclical money flows I guess...
