I disagree Robbo. I find Hotcopper very useful. I know my strengths and weaknesses and use Hotcopper to supplement those weaknesses.
I wouldn't use Hotcopper for fundamental analysis as this is subject to opinion and I've found a lot of posters have no idea what they're talking about in this regard. For instance, on the Integra thread, there was one guy who reckons it should be trading on a p/e of 30 and he got 10 thumbs up! These guys ramp the stock up and unless you know how to value a company yourself you can be easily sucked in. Fortunately my strength is fundamental analysis. I know when to buy- not so good however in knowing when to sell. I find Hotcopper useful for this as there are a lot of technical analysis experts (Qiktrade and Combi in particular being two of them) and I find their commentary very useful.
