I fully agree with you
There are far too many emotive true believers at HC (speaking generally). Down days are due to cappers, bots and manipulation whereas up days are a just reward
But amongst the dross, blind faith believers, (who often end uup discenchanted) and those with axes to grind there are a few stocks that are well researched , understood and posted on by those with either professional or well versed knowledge
For me LYC (where I have largely lurked) is up there with UMC for post quality. With third prize to SDL given Westcott's tireless research
