I absolutely agree with the idea of a short held position, that's the reality of investing these days and we should all move with the times.
Whilst I don't personally "short" I am interested in beginning to "hedge" which is essentially a covered short.
Shorters help bring balance to a market and I certainly agree that someone with a short held in the company has just as much interest as a holder, after all there are two sides to every single trade ever processed on the ASX.
