austephen, I am not sure I exactly understand your question. I am sure you probably know most of the below.
The figure for daily short sales are published by the ASX the day after. The overall level of shorts is published by ASIC six days after.
If you are asking where are the figures for daily covering, as far as I know it isn't published anywhere. You could work out an approximate figure from the above but the figures are not published as far as I know.
As for volume traded each day (not short volume) for each stock, I get that from my broker and download it into my charting program. The chart produced by my charting program shows that the total volume of PDN shares traded on 25 March was 5,174,774 (compared to the average volume for PDN shares for the 21 days prior to 25 March of 11,822,763).
