Insurers would be well involved in this case already. CNP may be the party being sued, but that's not to say they are responsible to pay the claim. It gets passed down the chain to the insurers, both for CNP & their auditors. Plenty of parties using lawyers in a matter like this. Some parties may join forces, while others lodge counter claims etc.
